Scammers are becoming more sophisticated

I Am an internet marketing coach and every summer I enjoy visiting the Atlantic seaport of "Camden Main".

Vacationing with a laptop computer keeps me abreast of whats happening in my business. It only takes a few minutes a day to keep things running smoothly. You can do the same, but you need to be aware that there are people out there who will take your money and give you nothing in return. In this article you will find links to recent news reports about new scams.

Y'all Want to Work From Home? Beware of Scams.

Beware of Scams

Thank goodness most online business opportunities are not scams. If they were we would all be in trouble. There are many opportunities out there. For instance multilevel marketing is is usually a good business to be in. (Mary Kay, Shaklee, Tupperware, Mannatech etc.)

These businesses require some effort on your part. In fact any legitimate online business that pays a decent income requires a certain amount of effort on your part.

If you believe the get rich quick hype, such as instant plug in profits, or earn $10,000 in thirty days, or ,I will guarantee you a six figure income in thirty days. if you believe any of that, you are going to get burned.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. CBS News had a recent report about scams I would like to share with you.

You need to research any business before you invest your hard earned money. Multilevel marketing business are generally easy to check out. Simply call the company and ask for references. If they refuse to give you any, simply cross them off your list.

Any legitimate online business will be happy to offer you references and answer any other questions you may have.

The references you do receive, call them and ask them questions, such as, how do you get paid and when, are you happy working with this company etc. Then call the Better Business Bureau and also check out their local chamber of commerce.

Keep Your Money and Credit Cards in Your Wallet

Beware of Scams

Some one called me the other day [my phone number is all over the internet] They claimed to be representing E Bay, but I don't think so.

After a few unsincere pleasantries The next words out of his mouth "Do you realize it takes money to make money." I said , that is not necessarily true.

The next thing he wanted to know is how many credit cards I have and what are the limits on each one. That Kind of question is like a red flag. No one is entitled to that kind of information. That's called phishing and is one of the biggest scams on or off the internet.

The information you give a total stranger can come back to haunt you.

If any one asks for money in advance to get you started in business it could very well be a scam. No legitimate company will ask you to pay them money before you can go to work for them.

Some may say you need to buy some instruction manuals and DVD's so you can learn how to operate your new business. Some of these are scams and others are legitimate opportunities. Do your research before you invest in a program like this.

One of the best of these Is Renegade University where you can join for free and if you choose to take your business to the next level you can enroll in Renegade Professional.

Renegade University

You can stay at Renegade professional for as long as you like for a small monthly fee. What ever you do Keep your money and your credit cards in your wallet until you are absolutely sure you are doing the right thing.
