Looking Into The Future - Beyond 2012
Will you kids have a future? Will all your friends and family still be around? Will I have a normal life now? These are the questions that are being ask before the big '012' arrives. The fact is that nobody will ever know what will life be like after 2012. It could turn out to be that is was nothing more than a Y2K scare or it could result in a gray, cold, lonely place that no one could have imagine. For the sake of this lens, however, lets take look at the possible outlooks to some situations that might be after 2012.

2012 - If Disaster Happens
Well, the future for mankind is bleak
Whatever the case it turns out to be, whether it be a meteoroid strike, all out nuclear war, or gamma-ray burst, humans will have little to no hope for survival. Dust would encircle the globe, causing global temperature drops on the extreme. Not to mention, the blocking of sunlight would mean no photosynthesis for vegetation, thus, causing a worldwide famine. It would take decades to get back to 'normal' levels. 2012 - If It Was All A Big Joke
Well, we'd still be in turmoil
If it turns out that no major catastrophes occur and it was all overblown, it could still turn out to be a disaster. Why? Because, the sheer volume of PANIC! would mean that everyone would endanger themselves by buying up all resources to a point where we wouldn't be able to replenish those supplies Gasoline, diesel, heating oil, jet fuel, wood, coal, basically all energy sources would be sucked up. Food supply, clean water, first aid kits, and other essentials would also be depleted. This would be a man mad disaster on a critical level. Life Will Go On
As the saying goes, 'life is short. So enjoy it while you still can.' The truth is that we really don't know what life will be like after 2012. You will just have to live life to the fullest. And then when something major is about to happen on that day, then you can panic. Or better yet, do all the things that you would have never thought of doing.
