Fleet Driver Training and Driver Assessments are becoming a necessity for many companies.

New Health and Safety legislation combined with every increasing fuel, insurance and maintenance costs have made training an essential for all company car and van drivers. Have a look at our simple guide to Corporate Manslaughter and Fleet Driver Training.

Our target audience are less likely than ever to pick up a telephone directory - but spend more and more time online.

Internet advertising has been integral to our business from day one, and it is our ONLY form of advertising. The experience we have gained from promoting our websites to high search ranking places in organic searches (not expensive pay-per-click campaigns) has left us with huge experience of how to get driving school websites noticed.

There area a lot of books out there on the subject, we keep an eye on all the new issues, but if it doesn't come up to scratch, we don't add it to the list.

Train to be a Driving Instructor 

We also provide Driving Instructor Training in the north Lancashire and south Cumbria areas. Company & Fleet Driver Training 

Become a Fleet Registered Driving Instructor

Well, I just passed my course, I'm now a fleet registered driving instructor. I've been training people who already hold a full licence for a couple of years, and I felt I should make this all approved and DSA registered!

I did the course with Nigel Dawson at Excelsior Training based in Staffordshire. The Diploma course is DSA approved, and once you qualify you can register with the DSA for your orange badge.

About BeyondDriving

Hello, I'm Tim, I'm a driving instructor, and I train loads of different people to drive, and to instruct. Have a look at: my driving instructor blog and the new site: Driving Lessons Lancaster.


Everything can happen in one day - a first lesson with a nervous person just past their 17th birthday - or training a new driving instructor how to deal with the customer who tries to drive 'straight across' the roundabout!


I run my Driving Instructor and Training site, which has loads of information, news, books, links and articles for drivers and trainers at all levels. Based in Lancaster in the UK, I teach learners in the local area, and driving instructors all over north Lancashire and south Cumbria.
