    I used to live in the Soviet Union where Bibles were scarce. I remember when we first got the Gustave Dore's Illustrated Bible. It was a treasured item. For us, kids, the book seemed so impressive (and it really was). Your lens brought back many warm memories... thanks!

    I'm not much of a religious person, but I do LOVE this lens. It's beautiful and informative. My husband actually has a copy of Inferno with this guy's art in it.

    I never heard of him before, but I think I've seen some of the pictures (although colorized). Great job!
