    ..."And when my heart is overwhelmed, please lead me to the Rock that is higher than I..." A scripture that has always inspired me is, "Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness, and he was called the friend of God." , I think that is my highest wish, to be called the friend of God! The NASB is one of my two favorite versions, the other is the Amplified--I love how they almost fall open to my favorite scriptures.
    Your inspirational verse of the day is powerful. I confess that I have not been faithful in praying for those in leadership, this is a timely reminder!

    "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."

    Shelly, It is so good to hear from you! I am sorry I took so long to respond, been crazy busy lately. I so appreciate your messages and I am so glad you have recovered. Praise God he is so good, I meant every word on my message on the forum, you are a special person and I am so glad to have met you and Susie! You two have been an inspiration and have brought me joy.
    I think we will meet some day if not here then in Heaven.

    I definitely find encouragement and inspiration from Bible quotes. Though, I've come to realize that they only become a reality in my life through the revelation of the spirit. Lensrolling to my Encouraging Quotes from the Bible lens. Well done...so good to hear from you...blessings! :)

    Love it - like-minded. Have always loved one my daughter taught me - "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of God, in the land of the living." Psalms 27:13. You'd have to know our story. The scriptures are certainly alive to me, and loved this, and rated it 5*s!
