Understanding the Bible - The New Testament
On this lens you will find a series of bible story videos that are beautifully narrated by children, which accurately interpret a good amount of the New Testament. These stories are also beautifully illustrated, which will help you to better understand the stories.
I chose this teaching series because I feel that it is very appropriate that children are narrating the stories, and not adults. Although we are all considered children of God, it is the young children, although born into sin, who are still considered innocent in the eyes of God. It is wonderful that in these stories, God's Word, is spoken through these pure Children of God who are not yet tainted by the world.
Here is more about the Children of God, from Matthew, Chapter 18:
Matthew 18:1-10 (New Living Translation)
The Greatest in the Kingdom
1 About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?"
2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, "I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
5 "And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. 6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.
7 "What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting. 8 So if your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It's better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of your hands and feet. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It's better to enter eternal life with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
10 "Beware that you don't look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father.

- How much do you know about the tribulation? The tribulation is a seven-year period that immediately precedes the return of Christ and the establishment of His millennial kingdom.
The first 3½ years of the tribulation will be a time of peace and cooperation (also referred to as the birth pains). After that, the next 3½ years (referred to as the Great Tribulation) will be a time of war and catastrophic events.

- All that meant was that if a child's life were to end, before he or she knew any better about the world, do you actually think that God would condemn that child's soul to hell? I would hope not.

- I read the introduction to your blog and had a question. You said that children were innocent in God's eyes. If that is true how to you explain these verses?
..."the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth" (Genesis 8:21).
"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me" (Psalm 51:5).
"The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies" (Psalm 58:3).
"There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who understands;
there is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside;
they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one" (Romans 3:10-12).
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23).
