Why the NKJV bible version is the best

I bought this bible in December 2007, after reading good reviews of it on Amazon.co.uk
One review in particular caught my attention more than the rest. It was written by an Anglican vicar who said he used it every week in his Sunday services.
So on the strength of that recommendation I bought a copy, and I haven't regretted it since.
I have learned such a lot from this bible version. You could say it has opened my eyes. This is no exaggeration.
It is a study bible and , in my opinion, the quality of the explanations of the scripture is excellent and easily understood. I have spent several months reading this version exclusively and I have enjoyed it immensely.
I heartily recommend the New Spirit Filled Life Bible to all, as an easy and enlightening read.

1. It's easy to read.
2, The Kingdom Dynamics give excellent and easy to understand background information.
3. Word Wealth adds meaning to selected words
4. Truth-in-Action charts at the end of each book of the bible give practical, personal applications to apply in one's life.

Kingdom Dynamics and Truth In Action

These two in particular are what I like most about this bible.
If you want practical direction in how to apply what you've just read in each book of the bible, this chart will give you valuable insights.
However, my favorite is the Kingdom Dynamics which are inserted into the text to explain and give understanding to certain parts of passages. These really have helped me to understand the bible better.
Having almost completed reading the whole of this version, I am strongly tempted to read it all through again.
I find the New King James Version easy to read, and, importantly, the print size is acceptable, both in the commentary and in the main text. There's always a trade off between bible size and weight, and the print size.
You don't want a bible that's too heavy, but you want to be able to read the bible comfortably, and without carrying a magnifying glass around.

An example of what I have learned from the bible Nkjv

In Psalm 42:5, the author teaches us about praise. How when we turn our attention to God and away from ourselves, He helps us.

Which bible version should I choose?

Take your time. Have a browse first.

It's a hard question to answer. My advice is go with your instincts. If you pick up a Good News version and you find it readable, go ahead and buy it. That's the way I select my versions to read. I find that reading different versions helps my understanding of the scriptures as a whole. And that must be a good thing. A bit like a jigsaw. A little bit of enlightenment from The Message, and another bit from The Life Application Study Bible, for example.
Try and borrow a few different versions first and take them home to read. Our local church has a few for us to try, you just return them when you're finished.
If you're anything like me where bibles are concerned, I can lose myself in a bible bookshop. I like to spend as long as it takes dipping into them before I buy.
That's assuming of course you can travel to these bookstores.
That's where Amazon comes in really handily. You can spend as long as you want browsing, having a peek inside the book at the contents, and reading the comments of those who have bought the book in question. Very important.
