Choose your bicycle trailer

There are several bicycle trailers available these days and one can choose from single wheel trailers or two wheels trailers. The weight capacity of each trailer can be one of the main choosing factor but it´s more common to see people making their choose based on the trailer weight. In fact this is very important because if the journey is going to be very long the trailer weight can make it an even harder task to accomplish.

It is also very important to find a trailer which has an easy and effective fastening to the bike in order to avoid problems in case of accident. Some trailers are connected with the bike`s seat tube but this will raise the gravity center of the bicycle/trailer set making it more difficult to control. The best system for fastening the trailer it´s on the rear axle level which allows better maneuverability and easy towing of the trailer.

    A friend of ours owns an internet-based bicycle trailer company (www.biketrailershop.com), and, despite our country's economic problems, his business is booming and growing fast. More and more people are peddling their way around and using bike trailers to do errands too. I see them coming and going around town.
