Bicycle Baskets For an Eco-Friendly Lifestyle

Bicycle baskets can really come in handy, especially today when more people are environmentally conscious and want to live "green" to save the planet. Folks ride their bikes not only for leisure but also to run errands and even to work.

Besides saving money on gas, riding your bike is also healthy as it's a great exercise and it allows you to breathe the fresh air, especially if you live in the country or a small town. And guess what! With a bicycle basket you can bring your beloved pet along and share the fun.

I remember how excited I was when I was about 9 years old to finally learn how to ride a full size bike. Once I was good at it I would ride the bike around the neighborhood for hours everyday. I had so much fun.

The bicycle actually belonged to my parents and one day my mom decided to put a bike basket on the front so that it would be a lot easier for her to carry groceries. At first I didn't think that was a very good idea. For some reason I felt silly riding the bike with the basket on.

Then one day my dad had the idea of bringing our little puppy along for a ride on the bike basket while I sat on the back. That was so much fun and since then I no longer thought it was so silly to ride with the basket on. I would even volunteer to go to the store on occasion to pick up a few small things that I could carry in the basket.
