Pro racing news sites

VeloNews
This is the site of the magazine that is subtitled "the Journal of Competitive Cycling." A great source for race news and technical reports about high end bikes.
Cycling News
An Australian site that features racing news from around the world. This site is upated often and is a great place to find race results quickly.
Pez Cycling News
Another road racing site with interesting articles. This site brings you cycling coverage from a slightly different perspective. I like it; see for yourself.
Daily Peloton
Another great source for racing news with message boards and a chat room
Cycle Sport
In my opinion, the best print magazine that covers professional cycling
USA Cycling Pro Championships
These are races in Greenville, SC to determine the US Pro champions in road racing and time trialing.

Blogs about bike racing

Tour de France blog
A great blog for anyone following the Tour de France. Additional pro cycling news makes this site a good all around source for racing information.
Spare Cycles
An excellent blog with cycling photography and race coverage (International and Northern California)
Cycling Shots
Eric's blog features some good photographs of racing action.
Neil@Road
A great blog from the editor of Road magazine. If you are interested in road cycling and racing, I recommend that you get your hands on a copy of this magazine.
Bicycle Design
This is my blog about bike design. It is not always about racing, but I cover the latest in racing bike design fairly often.

So you want to race?

USA Cycling
The official website of USA Cycling, the governing body of both amateur and pro bicycle racing in the United States. For road, track, or cyclocross racing you will need a USCF license. A NORBA license is required for mountain bike racing

Lens of the day! (sort of)

I should pay more attention. I just noticed that several months ago, Bicycle Racing was listed, along with two other cycling lenses, as lens of the day. What an honor. Too bad I didn't know it at the time. Still, it is not too late to check out the link.
