Big Cat Rescue's Mission
Big Cat Rescue is devoted to rescuing and housing exotic cats who have been abused, abandoned, bred to be pets, retired from performing acts, or saved from becoming fur coats, and to educating the public about them.
Big Cat Rescue provides the best home they can for the animals in their care and to reduce the number of cats that suffer the fate of abuse, abandonment or extinction by teaching people about the plight of the cats, both in the wild and in captivity, and how they can help through their behavior and support of better laws to protect the cats.

- Big Cat Rescue is an amazing charity and I was so pleased that Squidoo chose one of my lenses that donates for a Squidoo Summer Sunshine Award in 2010 - as a result I have been informed that there's a tile that has been added to a wall in my honor - it is definitely one of those places I would like to visit when I win the Lottery :)
