Women's Dress Shoes for Wide Feet

This isn't the 1800s anymore. Footbinding is no longer in practice.

These days, women actually walk. Why do shoe manufacturers continue to make itty bitty super skinny heels? After years of shoe-shopping misery, I found a brand that has very stylish, comfortable shoes that are wide enough for my feet! This brand is Dansko shoes!

Women's Wide Shoes

Shoes for Wide Feet Can be So Hard to Come By

I have wide feet. I used to hate trying on shoes. Especially heels. The sides of my feet would hang off the edges of the shoes. Sometimes my toes wouldn't fit into the top part of the shoe. Once I found a size that was wide enough, the shoe was way too long for my poor feet. I didn't get any dress shoes or heels. I would wear tennis shoes several sizes too big just so I could have enough room for my feet. Does this sound like you? Maybe Dansko shoes are the solution.

I have one pair of Dansko shoes. They are my very favorite shoes. They are dark red and make my big clumsy feet look downright dainty. They have a tapered heel, so they are easy to walk in. The sole is cushioned and keeps my feet from hurting, even when I wear them all day long. They have lasted five years, with me wearing them whenever I can find an excuse!

I have 2 pairs of Danskos. I don't have wide feet but all my Danskos rub really bad along the sides so I pity ya'll who DO have wide feet because these are VERY uncomfortable for the first few weeks.

Very nicely done. As a fellow sufferer of wide-foot-in-narrow-American-shoe syndrome, I am always looking for an alternative that doesn't make me look like a linebacker. These are great! 5*
