And More Great Prizes

The Grand Prize Winner will receive an autographed copy of Rachael Ray's Big Orange Book, a reuseable totebag, and a featured spot at both the Cabaret Squidoo Best Recipes Blog and the Giant Squid Community Showcase.

Additional stand-out entries may also receive a featured spot at the Cabaret Squidoo Best Recipes Blog at the judges discretion.

ABOUT THE GRAND PRIZE

Just before the holidays, I had the honor of meeting Rachael Ray in person at a book signing at the Barnes and Noble bookstore in my hometown.

At that time, I received autographs on two copies of her new Big Orange Cookbook, one for myself, and one for the grand Prize winner of the Cabaret Squidoo Big Orange Recipe Contest.

Big Orange Dinner Recipe Contest Rules

How to enter the Cabaret Squidoo Big Orange Recipe Contest

Only One Entry Allowed Per Person

Recipes must be your own personal recipes and not taken from any other online or inprint sources. (And If you are planning to use your Mom's casserole recipe it would be a good idea to get her permission first!) Any recipes found to be plagiarized from another source or in any other way unoriginal will be disqualified immediately.

We are specifically looking for homemade dinner recipes that taste great but can be made quickly. (Think busy Mom's and Dad's who need to cook a fast meal for their family after working all day.)

In addition to the individual recipe's quick preparation, each lens will also be judged on the quality of the recipe, (Don't leave out any steps.) the entertainment factor of the lens, (ie: Does it contain any relevant polls, videos, photos, trivia, helpful cooking tips, duel modules, etc.) and the overall look (creative design) of the lens.Warning: Heavy use of CSS will be strictly penalized and should be avoided! Squidoo.com provides many different modules that can be used to create beautiful lenses without using additional CSS.

Published lens entries must be submitted by Midnight EST, Monday February 16, 2009 in order to qualify.
