    I think something is out there. Just before dark one evening in Northern Md. Tennessee I smelled something unpleasant. I then heard something very large moving in the brush nearby. As I began to institute that military strategy known as a retreat there were some noises, sort of a combination of a growl and a groan. My retreat gained momentum and leaving all dignity on the field of battle, I ran. I was in my thirties at the time. I have spent a great deal of time in the hills and forests of TN, MO & AK and am familiar with all the native wildlife but have never experienced such a thing before or after. I have talked to others who have actually seen something and I am think I might have been very near a Bigfoot at the time.

    You know, just a few weeks ago, I was chatting with mom about bigfoot. She is a skeptic. She doesn't think there would be a bigfoot out there without a family. Me? I'd want to interview one.

    Knowing about too many pranks I am very skeptical, on the other hand I am pretty sure we haven't found and classified all beings and there is plenty of room to explore. Nice selection and interesting theme. Thumbs up!

    Seeing is truly believing, for all those skeptics out there (I am one), I challenge you to go out into the woods and take your video cameras. Don't just say you don't believe because you have not seen it, do some actual looking first. Go talk to the people who have said they saw something, poke around in the area. Besides it is actually a lot of fun doing some of your own research and not just taking someones word or dismissing it right off. Unless your scared:)

    I have only one question. If Bigfoot exists, why hasn't one walked into Junea, Alaska or Salem, Oregon? All animals are becoming less and less afraid of man and live in suburbs of cities all across the world. Why hasn't this one?

    Hi, very very interesting. The video from your other lens, with the target practice. I found very interesting and not fake. The Camera person was not focusing on the background, and if you slowly follow, you will see the image squad and then stand and turn before the camera follows to the target practice bottles. It seems the larger rifle caused the run. Thank you for sharing, very good.

    After thinking a while I've come to the conclusion that the science community is actually afraid to come out in the dark to search for this careature. Imagine them seeing their own shadow in the moonlight.

I THOUGHT WITH ALL THE HUNTERS, HIKERS, GAME CAMERAS,CAMPERS,FOREST RANGERS,LOGGERS AND TOURISTS COMBING OUR FORRESTS WITH VIDEO RECORDERS SOMEONE WOULD GET A BETTER FILM OR COME ACROSS A INJURED OR DEAD BIGFOOT. I THOUGHT IT COULDNT BE NO SUCH THING. THAT WAS TILL A NIGHT IN 1991 IN CASPER CALIFONIA. I WAS ON OUR PROPERTY MOSTLY MADE UP OF PINES AND REDWOODS ABOUT 4 MILES INLAND FROM THE OCEAN. I WAS 23 YEARS OLD AND HAD BEEN COMMING TO THE SAME PIECE LAND SINCE I WAS 4 YEARS OLD. I WAS UNLOADING MY GEAR WHEN I HEARD SOMETHING VERY BIG RUN PAST THE FRONT OF OUR PROPERTY ON THE DIRT ROAD, BIG! SOMEHTING BIG AND FAST! I CONTINUED UNLOADING MY GEAR AND I HEARD WHATEVER IT WAS COMMING BACK IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. I GRABBED MY FLASH LIGHT THINKING WHO THE HELL IS RIDING A HOARSE THIS TIME OF NIGHT. I SHINNED MY LIGHT TOWARDS THE ROAD AND CAUGHT SOMETHING MOVEING VERY FAST AND VERY BIG ,DIRECTLY IN MY BEAM OF LIGHT. THAT IS WHEN I SAW HIM TURN HIS HAIRY HEAD AND LOOK DIRECTLY AT MY BEAM OF LIGHT ! TWO BIG RED EYES ON A HAIRY FACE AND HE DIDNT EVEN MISS A STEP. HE SOUNDED LIKE A TWO LEGGED HOURSE.     Big foot is a shape shifter, he can transform into a bush, rock, log or whatever if necessary to avoid detection. The creature can't stay disguised indefinitely however, so it can be caught off guard on occasion.

    I believe the patterson film is real.But I can't figure out why in all my years moving about the forests and mountains alone in western washington state I have never seen even the slightest sign of one of these creatures.Seen every other native animal in these parts,but never a Sasquatch, yet. Can't figure out how an animal with that large of a bio-mass to fuel could possibly find enough calories to survive the winter months.Many northern sightings in winter months,versus spring through fall? What about Yukon and Alaska sightings?

    I think Bigfoot is real. Before people dismiss it as a silly myth, they should take the time to do some real research on the evidence (videos, tracks, eyewitness accounts, hair samples, etc). At the very least you will come away believing that the reality of Bigfoot is a fair possibility. You definitely put some good vids on here.

    Fun lens! It takes me back to my childhood. My dad and I used to always watch the TV specials on Big Foot, the Lock Ness Monster, and the Bermuda Triangle. Not totally sure about Big Foot. The jury is still out on that one for me. But I am open to the possibility. I have to say that the idea of men and apes breeding, as suggested by another commentor, is rediculous and unscriptural. Animals do not have spirits that are made in the image of God, therefore interbreeding with humans to produce life would be impossible. Afterall, apes do not even interbreed between primate species. I am sure there must be science that can back up the fact that genetically, this interbreeding with man is impossible. I look forward to see additional videos. Thumbs up!

    The film that Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin made in 1967 of Bigfoot was real. Here is what they filmed on October 20 1967.
    Several thousand years ago there were thousands of slaves that ran off around the world and started their own countries. When these slaves ran off there was a large group of men and boys that took off and ended up in Africa. Some of them were giants as tall as 9 ft. or even taller. The giant named Goliath that David killed with his slingshot was 9 ft. tall. Some of these men and boys went exploring to Borneo and used ropes to catch female orangutans and took them to South America.
    They had sex with them and created the Indians. The men and boys that stayed in Africa used ropes to catch female gorillas and had sex with them and created the Africans. When scientists found the bones in Africa they thought we evolved naturally from a female chimpanzee. But it wasn't a natural evolution it was a man made evolution. That's where all the Bigfoot and Orangutan creatures come from.
    They are half man and half gorilla and half man and half orangutan. They use to call the Indians the red man. The orangutan has reddish hair. When those men bred out the hair the Indian's skin remained red. The gorilla has black hair and skin. When those men bred out the hair the African's skin remained black. Some of the Indians and Africans are tall. And some of the Bigfoot and Orangutan creatures are tall.
    They are tall because some of the men that created them were tall. Some scientists believe that we evolved naturally from a female chimpanzee. Have you ever seen an 8 ft. tall chimpanzee? I haven't either. Bigfoot migrated up through Africa and came into the United States at the top of Africa when they were connected by land. The Orangutan creatures migrated up through Central America and came into the United States like the Indians did later on.
    The first Europeans that saw the Africans said that some of the African women had genitals that resembled that of a gorilla. If you look at the nose of an African you will notice that it is wide like the gorilla's nose. The creature Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin filmed in 1967 was half man and half gorilla. It was a female Bigfoot that they named Patty. Patty was not a man in a costume, she is not our missing link and she is not a figment of our imagination.
    Patty was a creature that was created by men that had sex with female gorillas and orangutans a long time ago. Believe it or not, man created his own evolution.

    Yeah its true, humans CANNOT breed with gorillas, monkeys, or any kind of ape. The russians have tried for centuries to cross breed humans and apes. They were unsuccessful. they paid a woman in the 1930s to try and breed with gorillas, mokeys, and chimps to try and create a APEMAN, like of the famous movie, Planet of the apes. Its simply impossible to create a half gorilla, half man. OTHERWISE there would be a Whole mess of cross breeds. There would BE FORSURE a whole bunch of BIGFOOTS walking around. CUZ U GUYS know there are alot of sick asses that probably would mate with gorillas and there would be BIGFOOTS everywere because of crossbreeding.

    There are many areas where these creatures have been sighted globally and stories of them dated to as much as thousands of years into the past. I am one who just wonders ,with all the money being spent on spy satellite imaging in orbit that can "see" something as small as a house cat in infrared light, why some of that can't be diverted to our planetary research and and some "real" findings be done on this subject. The technology is there I guess there just isn't enough interest.

    Well that is the sighting, as my mother explained it to me, to the best of my recollection. I hope I didn't do too bad of a job of describing it!
    This is why I believe in these creatures. I've never had a sighting myself. I hope one day I do! I just don't want to climb into a hayloft with one, and have the crap scarred out of me, like they did!

    When they came home the three children told them what happened and they talked both of them into going out to the barn. They didn't believe it anymore than my grandmother did. My grandfather took a pitchfork and climbed up into the hayloft and my uncle stood down on the bottom floor with a rifle. My grandfather stabbed the hay with the fork. The creature was gone. My grandfather said it was probably a bum that had climbed into the hayloft to sleep. My mother didn't know just how long it was after the sighting, but the barn caught fire and burned down. Like I said before, the location where this sighting took place is part of Fort Drum now.
    My mother, aunt and the neighbor boy, are all deceased now. The three stuck to their story till they died.
    My aunt continued to live in the area, but my parents moved to Rockland County before I was born, in 1955. I spoke about the sighting to my aunt, in the1990s before she died. She told me that my uncle heard reports over the police scanner. She said that some of the reports mentioned white rings on the face, and others reported pink rings. When I asked my mother about the rings, she said that maybe the rings was the creatures skin, and the dark color was the fur.

    When they got down on the floor of the barn they ran out of the barn and crossed the dirt road that ran between the barn and my grandparents farmhouse and they went into the house. My grandmother was in the house doing housework. They were all excited and they told her about the monster in the barn. Of course she didn't believe them! Eventually they went outside to see if it was still out there. She said they walked out by the dirt road and looked up through the front doors of the barn and she said the creature was standing up on the hayloft and it was leaning on a beam that ran across the barn with it's arms. She said that while they was standing there talking, a rock about the size of a softball came flying out of the barn, and landed a few feet from them. That was all it took and they ran into the house, and waited until my grandfather and my mother's older brother came home.

    When my mother reached down, the hay in the hayloft moved. My mother said that a huge harry head raised up out of the hay. She described the head as dark colored, with white rings around the eyes and mouth. She said that the neighbor boy seen that and he jumped down from where he had climbed and ran over and jumped down to the bottom floor of the barn and ran out the front doors of the barn, and got out of there. My mother took hold of her little sister and guided her to the ladder, and when when she got her started down then she started down the ladder. She said that she was to terrified to look back at the creature!

    The sighting took place where the Army base Fort Drum now sits. The government came in and bought up large tracts of land around that area and made the base. Much of it was farm land.
    The three children were in the barn playing and they climbed into the hayloft. The neighbor boy climbed up the side of the barn so he could get into position to shoot at the barn swallows with his slingshot. He left the slingshot laying in the hay a few steps from my mother. When he was in a good position he asked my mother to toss him the slingshot. My mother took the few steps and she reached down to pick up the slingshot.

    This isn't my sighting. It happened to my mother, aunt and a neighbor boy. It took place in the late 1920s. My mother didn't remember the exact date. It took place on my grandfather's farm, in upstate New York. Most of the way to the Canadian border. My mother said she thought she was around six or seven at the time. My aunt was a couple of years younger. My mother guessed the neighbor boy was around twelve at the time.
    I don't know how many words I'm allowed at a time, so I will do this in more than one part.

    i very much belive that bigfoot is real, but i cant come to the concusion on what he is, ether a mix of a primate or a human or something like the coleakanth fish, like it was a caveman, but the whole thought of it creepy me out. The first time i heard of bigfoot i thought i wouldnt be scared, untill now, i heard a story of my dad that said that he went to go colect mushrooms when in his barn he heard noise, like groining but not like anything ive every heard in his life, he also countined with the story, i went around in the little barn and he saw a 7-8 foot figure that had a rib cage like nothing hes every seen, he emetitoly ran away and got in the car, at that time he says that the figure went to the other side of the barn, and then peered into his soul, he then started the car and looked down at the keys when he did so and when he looks up, VANISHED.

    When I was a lot younger my friends used to talk about a hairy man. I always thought their stories were just that, hairy. One year so many years later, as I was invited to go out hunting/camping up the Kuskokwim River in Alaska, I saw a person gesturing to me from ashore to come over while I was driving by in a small boat. Another boat had just passed by this guy (my hunting partners). As soon as I got to the area this guy was standing in, the guy just ran into the bushes. I thought, "funny". I went onshore to look for him/her. I shouted out a couple of times asking if the person needed help. I got no reply. I looked for a boat or even a cabin in the area and didn't notice any. As I was going back towards the boat, I looked on the ground to find this guy was not wearing shoes or boots. I thought that the person that I saw needed serious help. I continued up the river in the boat, and as I reached a town alongside the river, I reported this to a local man. His reply was, "Don't worry, just be glad that he didn't take you". It took me several years to realize what I really saw. The creature was actually gesturing for me to get lost, It was not inviting me. Many skeptics (like I was) don't go out often. The furtherest they ever reach is their backyards. I suggest that these skeptic go out camping at least a hundred miles from civilization. Other thing I notice about skeptics is that they actually fear going out camping miles from civilization after the fact of denying the existence of the creature. Many skeptics I have spoken to in chat rooms type out, "Are you crazy? I wouldn't want to be attacked by one of those things!"

    i no theres a lot of people out there that dont think bigfoot is real and thats ok let the stay on there couch and run off at the mouth all they want i was 12 feet away from one i seen him i no what i seen and thats all that matters to me i was by a pond and a 10 to 12 foot back up behind me and as i turned around it was up there looking down at me and as soon as i seen him he turned and walk away like it was nothing to him

    It is worth noting that the possibility of a bigfoot creature in the wild could be rather substantial. I have seen and studied many videos and have come to the conclusion, even based on all the fake videos out there, that there is a 90% likelyhood that bigfoot exists. Zoologists and other scientists are quick to dismiss bigfoot as a shear imaginary being. But they do not take into account that the giant silverback gorilla remained elusive for centuries before being discovered, as well as other notable creatures once thought to be supernatural or extinct. It is possible that we havent found any remains of this creature because they carry off their dead, or perhaps they choose hidden places to die, or we just havent looked in the right spots.

    i saw bigfoot in my back yard in ohio. I was camping with my mom when my dad got killed by bigfoot it was a tragic moment

    Freeman - I believe this one to be real.
    The lumbering gate is not that it's fat, or a guy in a suit. It's because it's carrying an infant, wrapped around the front. Freeman himself even stated there were two of them, he just was not descriptive enough. At the end of the clip is also when you see the little guy dangling under her arm.

    The Patterson film looks very genuine to me.In my opinion,there is no way you can fake the muscle movement in that film.You really have to take a look at the time when that footage was shot.In the late 60's, the technology needed to make an ape suit that lifelike was unheard of.Heck,I doubt that it could be replicated today!

    I have watched the Sasquatch legend meets science and read the book. I strongly recommend that all who are interested in this subject, should watch and read the book. The science is very supportive the the subject. The creature known as sasquatch is a living creature, and we should not dismiss this as a "neat story", the subject of sasquatch has been around longer than Hoaxers have. Especially, since alot of the discription in history was given to white settlers before they knew what a monkey or ape was, you can't just dismiss fact.

    I would say the chance that this is a genuine sighting is better than average. Much better, in fact. I have seen a similar sight, although hidden behind foilage before in Maine. No camera with me though.
