Some people just can't get the seat belts of certain models of vehicles across their abdomen. This can lead to wearing an extremely tight and uncomfortable belt or worse, not wearing them at all.

I didn't realize the variance in seatbelt length and fit until we went van shopping a few years ago. Of all the vans we tried the Toyota Sienna was the most comfortable plus the basic model comes with more features than any other basic.

Automobiles

I never knew this was such a problem until I started talking to others about it. But there is a cure. If you are buying a new vehicle be sure to ask the dealer up front for an extender.

Air Planes

I love my purple MaXX Daddy Monster and highly recommend it. It holds 800 lbs, 300 lbs per arm, has two insulated cup holders, two layers of 600 denier nylon fabric for comfort and durability, easily removable headrest and footrest and a carrying bag. The only downside is that it weighs 25 lbs, making it difficult if you have to lug it any distance.

The chair is incredibly comfortable and easy to set up. I also felt incredibly safe sitting and lounging in it. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone who does any kind of camping, RVing, festivals, pool side or back yard lounging. And it's a dang pretty chair!

The Voluptuous Woman Company created a wonderful bath wrap to spoil plus size bodies in July 2005. It is made from 100% white terry velour fabric and measures 75" wide and 35" long with a heavy duty 1" x 5" Velcro to secure in front. It is elasticized at one end to aid in wrapping. It is currently made in sizes 14 - 28 with a bust up to 52" but has some great stretch.

This nicely stitched and reinforced towel retails for $40 US.

There was a tiny bit of shrinkage but the towel is long enough that there is no peek-a-boo-age. And of course the Velcro shows some wear after a few months of washing.

Be sure to let the spas in your area know so you don't have to feel embarrassed or carry your own with you.

This is one of my favorite items for big people. I've had mine for over two years and still love it. It's still plush and the Velcro still works.
