What: Evel Knievel Days
Where: Butte, Montana
When: July 24, 25, 26, 2008.
The most famous motorcycle daredevil stuntman of all time, Evel Knievel, passed away last year on Nov. 30, 2007 at the age of 69. God Rest His Soul.
Evel's legacy and legend live on.
Activities include Dancing, Music, Concerts, Entertainment, Exhibits, Farmers Market, Fireworks, Motorcycling, Parade, Sightseeing, Arm Wrestling Championships, Motorcross and Superbike exhibitions, and that's not all.
Don't miss it. The folks in Butte know how to have a good time. Perhaps the coolest thing about Evel Knievel Days is that 90% of all the activities are FREE. There is no admission fee to watch the motorcycle exhibitions, the daredevil exhibitions, the parade, the fireworks, etc. Heck, last year I even got to watch my first Mixed Martial Arts fights for free.
The event in Butte attracts riders on their way to Sturgis or visitors cruising through the Big Sky Country of Montana. Butte is located in southwest Montana at the intersections of two Interstate Highways, I-90 and I-15. Butte is only three hours away from Yellowstone National Park and five hours away from Glacier National Park.
