There seems to be a crisis mounting with rising health care costs, and rediculous insurance policies. Did you know that 7 out of 10 Americans are uninsured or under insured?  Do you know someone in this situation? please read on...

Every state has recorded that there is growing concern with dental hygiene among the young and old alike. Not even the government can agree on a justified program to satisfy the people.

Let your co-worker know about this lens, so they are able to make an informative decision about health care. But hurry! Everyone needs to take care of (or at least curb) this growing frustration...

Something has to be done...

Health care needs to change...

When was the last time you heard someone talk about 'The great experience they had at the dentist?' It's no wonder the months pass by without the masses rushing to make an appointment! Dentists have to do mass mailouts and steady phone calls just to get thier clients to return! Why do you think this is?
Is it the affordable prices? or maybe it's the free tooth brush?
In any case, wouldn't it be nice to visit the dentist, get the care you need and not have to payout your life savings? Wouldn't it be nice to be able to take your children or spouse to get a cleaning, and not have to worry about going over "your yearly limit?"
Well, as it says above, this is no longer something to dream about...YOU CAN HAVE THIS! And right at your fingertips...

Now, like everyone else, I think that my oral health is pretty commendable. But let's face it friends, prevention is much more affordable than treatment!

Time is no respector of persons...Jump on this incredible offer!

Do yourself (and yout friends/family) the kindness: Get a minty fresh cleaning, an extra-thick layer of polish and a free tooth brush!

Oral Health is something that affects everyone...

Please inform everyone you know that there is an easy way to be able to afford dental coverage.

Senior citizens are affraid to look at anything outside their medical coverage and are paying for it out of their own pockets.

Furthermore (if you are covered at your workplace), to have anyone else covered under the same policy is going to be very costly, especially families with children. Not to mention, households that have only one major source of income...

Stop paying full price!!

States Take Up Manditory Health Coverage

Headline: Short excerpt from NPR...

States Take Up Mandatory Health Coverage

Talk of the Nation, January 10, 2007 · Last Monday, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger proposed a $12 billion plan to make health insurance mandatory for all citizens of the state of California. A similar bill became law in Massachusetts last year. Guests discuss state-mandated health coverage, and listeners share their thoughts on how the idea has worked so far...

Where do you fit into this ailing healthcare system?

Ailing Health Care: Excerpt from an article by Paul Krugman from the NY Times

"So what's the problem? Why not welcome medical progress, and consider its costs money well spent? There are three answers.

First, America's traditional private health insurance system, in which workers get coverage through their employers, is unraveling. The Kaiser Family Foundation estimates that in 2004 there were at least five million fewer jobs providing health insurance than in 2001. And health care costs have become a major burden on those businesses that continue to provide insurance coverage...

Second, rising Medicare spending may be a sign of progress, but it still must be paid for - and right now few politicians are willing to talk about the tax increases that will be needed if the program is to make medical advances available to all older Americans.

Finally, the U.S. health care system is wildly inefficient. Americans tend to believe that we have the best health care system in the world... But it isn't true. We spend far more per person on health care than any other country - 75 percent more than Canada or France - yet rank near the bottom among industrial countries in indicators from life expectancy to infant mortality.

This last point is, in a way, good news. In the long run, medical progress may force us to make a harsh choice: if we don't want to become a society in which the rich get life-saving medical treatment and the rest of us don't, we'll have to pay much higher taxes. The vast waste in our current system means, however, that effective reform could both improve quality and cut costs, postponing the day of reckoning.

To get effective reform, however, we'll need to shed some preconceptions - in particular, the ideologically driven belief that government is always the problem and market competition is always the solution.

...In health care, competition and personal choice can and do lead to higher costs and lower quality. The United States has the most privatized, competitive health system in the advanced world; it also has by far the highest costs, and close to the worst results."

Health Care Crisis In The News

News Clip
As reported today on MSNBC:

Fewer low-income families offered insurance
Millions of children go uninsured as employee benefits erode

WASHINGTON - About 47 percent of parents in families earning less than $40,000 a year are offered health insurance through their employers - a 9 percent drop during the past decade.

The figure underscores concern that low-income parents are experiencing a dramatic erosion in employee benefits, said the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which funded the research.

The foundation says the research also shows the importance of the State Children's Health Insurance Program, which has been in effect for a decade. One of the biggest debates in Congress this year will be over how much funding to set aside for the program, which now covers about 6 million children.

The research also indicated that about 9 million children are still uninsured, even though about two-thirds of them potentially could participate in existing government programs if only their parents would enroll them.

The states with the highest percentage of uninsured children were Texas, 20.3 percent; Florida, 16.9 percent; and New Mexico, 16.6 percent.

Meanwhile, the states with the lowest rate of uninsured children were Vermont, 5.6 percent; New Hampshire, 6 percent; and Michigan, 6.1 percent.
