The Bilibo
Kid-O Bilibo - Green
Amazon Price: $25.20 (as of 12/23/2009)![]()
At first this toy may look simple, but the more you play with it, the more you realize the shear genius in this design. It is extremely strong and durable, while being light enough for a child to easily carry.
The bilibo provides the following developmental benefits: intrapersonal, spatial, logical, and physical. In addition, the bilibo encourages manipulative play, dramatic play, and active play.
What is bilibo?
For instance, toddlers may use the Bilibo to fill with items and then dump out, while older kids may use it for spinning or rocking, or silly races.
The Bilibo is great for pretend play, in which it will transform into a turtle shell, a drum, a cooking pot, or a ship. It even acts as a tunnel for cars, and a hiding place for just about anything.
Take it outside and you'll have a beach toy, a sled, or a chair.

- Oh, gosh, Stephanie!
I think we have very different opinions on this.
Water up their nose? you can't be serious.
If your kid is spinning next to the cabinet, just tell them to move into the center of the room. If you are afraid of them falling off a 12 inch high piece of plastic, then throw a few pillows around them - but imagine how improved their balance will be once they've mastered it.
I don't think you can compare what is essentially a curvy oversized bowl with no sharp corners to metal lawn darts.

- Great Lens! Very nice work. 5*
However, I think this toy is a little crazy! Judging by the pictures for uses, it's something to spin in (a quick trip to the ER with a goose egg on the head), something to poor water with (water up the nose), something ....rounded.... to stand on (another trip to the ER with a broken arm) and a toy box!
What were these people thinking. It's cute and looks fun but at the same time it looks dangerous.
By all means your lens is great and I don't mean this as anything bad against your lens....just seems like an accident waiting to happen. Remember the huge metal darts that were made to throw in the air....
