When you run a small business you are used to dealing with numerous clients. One way to control your customer contacts is through a contact manager screen. You can enter a customer's information in only once and then it can be used throughout the application (no need for double entry). You will have to establish a billing rate that is specific to each customer. Don't worry if it changes later, you can always go back in and adjust that.

Once you have established a client then under each client you can create multiple projects. Each project is used to track and report information for your own internal management. Old projects get deactivated and not deleted so you can always review the history of your older work.
