Bill Peet and the Disney Connection

Bill Peet began working for Disney Studios as an apprentice animator in 1937. He had a part in the creation of the Disney animated classics: "Dumbo," "101 Dalmatians", "The Sword in the Stone," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Pinocchio," "Fantasia," "The Three Caballeros," "Cinderella," "Peter Pan," "Alice in Wonderland," "Sleeping Beauty," "Song of the South" and "The Jungle Book."
Eventually, Bill became the "sole developer" of "101 Dalmatians" and "The Sword in the Stone," "for which he drew the characters, wrote the screenplays and directed the actors´ voice performances." (http://legends.disney.go.com/legends/detail?key=Bill%20Peet)
