- I have been a binge eater on and off for over 6 years. It started off with just wanting to lose a bit of weight and then just got out of control. At first the weight loss was successful, but eventually I could not stay on the diet and exercise program and I would end up having severe binges. Trying to get back on another diet became harder and harder and the sense of failure and obsession ruled my life.
I have recently stopped the dieting and am trying to get in tune with my body and ignore the diet rules and what all of the experts are saying. It is working well so far, my obsession has lessened and I have had weight loss - which I am trying not to focus on too much.
I just want to stop the insanity of binge eating, weight gain and isolation
Thanks for the suggestions on this page. I wish thee was more discussion about how diets are in fact one of the major causes of binge eating and other eating disorders
