Bio-lensography and my spiritual journey

I came to know my lord and saviour Jesus Christ mid last June. I have been going to church regularly three services a week for four years. I believed I was saved long before that which is a long story which I describe on the lens below.

I still attend church regulary 3 times a week. Rarely missing a service. At church I am in the choir.

I also attend Bible college at Baptist Bible Institue Of Burcrus. I am still in my first semester of a 6 semester course. After I complete all 6 semesters I will achieve an associates degree in Bible studies. Once a week for three hours I attend three classes which are, Old Testiment, New Testiment, and Theology. I currenly pull A's and B's even though I havn't been to school since I graduated from high school 13 or 14 years ago.

Apart from my schooling I also join my church at a county nursing home twice a month for just over an hour of hymns, preaching and prayer with the residence there. I've been doing that last couple of months and even got to preach one night.

At a local nursing home I volunteer and hold a Bible study program twice a month for one hour where we sing hymns, pray, and discuss Bible topics or faith topics. I been doing this for about four months and last service I had 13 or 14 attend.

I been publishing devotionals here on Squidooo for just over two years.

So as you see I keep myself very busy in the Ministry.

I am a small town born and raised, spiritual, family-oriented, all around easy going kind of guy. I was born in Fort Levenworth, Kansas. Mostly raised in the small town of Mount Vernon, Ohio. Currently I live in another small town of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Where I live, work, and attend church.

I enjoy (as im sure you guessed it) going to church, reading, using my computer, enjoy spending time with my wife, and volunteering activities.

Other then my church activities and volunteer activites I am pretty much on my own kind of guy. I rather spend time on my computer publishing devotionals and doing a few other computer activities.

I been married to my wife for about 5 1/2 years (since 2005) but we lived together for about eight years before we got married. We known each other since I was in the sixth grade (19 years ago).

She is aloso born and raised in a small town of Marion, Ohio. She is a real outgoing easy going kind of women. Very loveable and high spirited which is why I fell in love with her. She is much my better half.

She likes to socialize, make crafts, volunteer at a local nursing home, read, play cards, and play computer games. She loves to watch TV and watch lots of movies. Another big interest of hers is Titanic.

Three more of my holiday related lenses are listed below. I hipe to make many more as holidays are upon us.

1. What Is All This Fighting For? This is a lens where I wanted to settle some fighting what Christmas is all about. All my life I have heard people fighting over if Christmas is about gifts, Christmas trees, decorations, or even when Christmas is to be celebrated. However I didn't create this lens to be a place for my rantings, I created it to celebrate and glorify our newborn King and Saviour born on Christmas over 2,000 years ago.

2. Will Scrooge Go To Heaven? This is the first holiday related lens I ever made. This was a humorus look into if Scrooge a charactor from the movie and book A Christmas Carol. A look into if he has a rich person a very humbug person who cared more about his riches then anyone or anything else. I also looked at if rich people if rich people in general go to Heaven. Whether do or don't isn't what is in their bank accounts or earthly possesions. Its about what is in their heart and what isn't in their heart. They do not have to give away their riches to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

3. Count Your Many Blessings. This is a lens I created about Thanksgiving and what we really should be celebrating. Sure the pilgrims did a great and wonderful thing. But we shouldn't be more thankful for them then to the God that created this earth, the God that gave us life, the God that died for our sins for us to have celebration. We should be thankful for many things in life. Count Your Many Blessings is a name of a hymn that made me think of Thanksgiving.
