Michelangelo (1475-1564) Born in Caprese, Italy in 1475, about forty miles from Florence. From small talent was obvious, and at the age of thirteen he was an apprentice at the famous painter in Florence Shirlandaio. A year after that he lived in a palace owned by Lorenzo Medici, ruler of Florence that acts as a protector. Throughout his career Michelangelo great talent no doubt.
