Back then, when people picture out the 21st century, it would be with flying vehicles, people having shiny silver suits and biometric scanner. We do not have the flying vehicles nor the silver suits. Well, except for costume parties. But what we do have is the biometric scanner.We have already marked the 21st century with this device. There are all kinds of biometric device used for the same and different purposes, depending on what you are most comfortable with. Sadly though, people are quite hesitant to use this. Probably because the security of the system is still questionable as it is only now when it is being commercially known, even if the government has been using it for a couple of years already.

What's another great thing about a Biometric Scanner is it makes the impossible possible. There are still a lot of people who cannot read nor write and even if they are citizens of the country, they are ashamed to go and exercise their rights as citizens whenever it's time for elections. So good thing with a biometric device, the people who are unable to write for some reason or another can now vote and make their voices heard.Their voice may be the voice we need for a brand new tomorrow.

Identity is important. Sometimes, when everything has gone, all we got left is our identity. That is why a biometric scanner is important because we no longer need items to prove our identity. We no longer need our ID cards to prove who we are. Hopefully in the future we will no longer need atm cards to withdraw money or our credit cards for credit card payments. They say there will come a time when an eye scanner will all that will be needed by establishments for us to do transactions.
This is a good thing especially with good credit standing. Those who do not, better watch out.
