The player will be able to swing around Ascension City and other environments such as canyons, which will feature multiple routes that will require players to use various swinging techniques. Spencer, the hero, is also able to target enemies while hanging upside down, climbing a building or even in mid-swing, while using an implement called the Bionic Arm which can be used to attack enemies at close range. Poll: What bionic part would you want?
I like the arm. Of course, I would use mine for much more banal tasks than undoing the wicked schemes of the Imperials (or the Badds, if you prefer). I'm thinking more along the lines of grabbing the remote without having to get out of my chair, scratching that spot in the middle of my back, and irritating cats from a safe distance.

People are worried that Bionic Commando might be a bit too hard. Making the mechanic hard was the whole point, says GRIN's Ulf Andersson: "The original Bionic Commando was skill-based. There was a risk in jumping: you might die, you might not. We've stayed true to that core mood and feeling of the original in our game."

- I had fun with this game. It is what it is. Frustrating at times and alot of fun too.

- The game is outstanding. YES!! at first I hated the fact that if you hit water you're dead; but rationality told me duuh! its probably really heavy. I do hate the radiation though. I fell as though those could have been left out. The graphics are stunning, the music is top notch. The levels huge. I wish there were more enemies. But overall, a 7, and when you get used to the swing of things an easy 8 or 9 out of 10. Great job CAPCOM.

you obviously have no taste whatsoever....
Who cares if you drown in water, or get killed by radiation. Its basically just a way to stop you from swinging of into areas your not supposed to. How else did you want them to do it? just have an invisible barrier so you can't go any further, like 90% of every other games.....No. And plus, the water idea is good too. He DOES have a bionic arm attached to him if you didnt notice....so of course he would drown.
And finally, i reckon your just sooking seeing as the game was too hard for you, a challenge always makes a game better.
Awesome game. One of my favorites. Well done Capcom!

- One of the worst games I have played that came out of the Capcom studios. Instant death traps due to radiation and drowning are extremely frustrating especially when it makes you start all over, meaning it could take you 5-10 minutes just to get back to where your character died. It seems that the gaming industry is getting greedy by making the games extremely short and only trying to make you feel as if the game play is longer by putting stupid death traps everywhere and making you basically start the whole damned chapter over again if you die. Boo to this game especially when the character doesnt respond to your buttons at times. So you swing around kill a few people or machines turn off the mine fields swing outta that chapter to the next where you repeat several times until you meet the master. I hate that this game came from Capcom cause I usually love all Capcom games.
