Bipolar quotes and advice

Bipolar affecive disorder is a very serious mental health issue and 1000's of people across the world are looking for help and support. This LENS has been designed to help reach out and give a little support to bipolar sufferers as well as there friends / family / loved ones and carers.

Bipolar Quotes and Tips

Whether you are a BP sufferer or a carer, sometimes it is easy to forget that you are not the only person, and that there are so many other people in the world (rich and poor) that are also affected by Bipolar Affective Disorder.  It is at times, so difficult to remember the simple things we know about bipolar or ourselves, such as lack of sleep is a sign of pending mania, or as a carer to try and look at things from the sufferers perspective or remember to try and not take things personally.

As a carer, I found it easy to get swept away on the rollercoaster called Bipolar, and forget or not put into action many of the things I researched and read when BP was first diagnosed.  But I did find something that did keep things a little bit more on track and help me avoid some problems that might have occurred otherwise.  It was to be reminded on a regular basis of such things like, examples of famous BP sufferers, or a "quote" about BP from a sufferers perspective, or a "quote" about BP from a carers perspective, to have or to be reminded of tips / advice, just little things that keep you on track and just a little bit ahead of the game.

It is there to also remind sufferers and carers of the other side of the BP fence, something so easily forgotten when you are in the thick of it.

But the real key to it was being reminded of these things on a regular basis.

So we set up a website to help support BP suffers and carers, by sending them these quotes / tips / advice on a DAILY basis, direct to their desktop.  The website is totally FREE of charge and has been so successful and popular that it really took us by surprise. The feedback has been tremendous, and we have had so much input and so many suggestions from the BP community.

It is a really simple website, nothing flashy or extravagant, it just sets itself as your homepage on your pc, so that everytime to use the internet on your PC, a BP related quote or tip is waiting on your screen for you.  There is also a refresh button too, so that you can browse through more tips / quotes.  We are looking at an email version of the service, as it has been suggested to us alot, but preference is given to the homepage version as it gives you the ability to refresh the page and get more quotes / tips, something you can't do with email.

Here are some of the Bipolar Quotes and tips that appear on the website at ;

    As a person recently diagnosed with Bipolar I am reading up on it and honestly I wonder why they didn't diagnose me with this earlier. Now I have to relearn everything I thought I knew about myself. Thanks for making this a little less scary.
