Ranked #1,832 in Education, #43,693 overall

My little guy just recently started bird watching. Bird watching is one of the projects we chose for him to do in 4-H. He has learned a lot so far. I think it is very good in helping with observation skills and patience. An important part of bird watching is keeping a bird watching journal. A bird watching journal is where your record what birds you see, sketches you make, your observations, different details you notice and more. This page on bird watching journals is gear toward both children and adults. I think keeping a bird watching journal can be a family affair and it is important to include your children. I made the page with children in mind, but of course, it can be used by adults that do not have children, though a few of the resources may not apply, but most can be used by any age. I urge you to look over any resources to make sure they are age appropriate for the age of the person you will be using it for,

There's a lot of clever information here. I've been watching birds since I was a kid, but never thought of doing it the way you describe..I usually take my camera with me, so I'd probably do an electronic version or a photobook...
