- Beautiful! A Family Friend Norm Chesterfield from Wheatley Ontario was a huge Birder - at one point #1 in the World having spotted over 6,000 different species travelling all over the World! Norm was Lucky too living close to Point Pelee a major Migratory for Birds making their way back to Canada after (smartly) going South for the Winter! ;)) Jack Miner's famous Bird refugee was also close by in Kingsville* Norm was good friends with Tom Hayman who wrote a Birding column also gave my Dad Tom Peterson's famous Field Guide to the Birds which even got him interested!
