Birthday Party Balloons

A birthday party is not a birthday party if you don't have birthday party balloons all around your house. There's just something about these bright, colorful items that just add a whole lot of festivity to your party and if you are going to throw a party especially if it is something young and fun like a birthday party, baby shower party, anniversary party, graduation party and really just any sort of party, you'd better be having at least a few balloons around to show that it is a party.

And just like every other aspect about celebrations that have evolved and changed with the times, balloons these days you don't just come in one size, one design, or one kind either. It's all good if you are throwing a regular party, but what if you are thinking of throwing a theme party? If you are throwing a theme party, no problem because you can be sure you are going to find theme party balloons that will suit your party. That's right, there are even theme party balloons these days too.

Even if you are not having a theme party, there's no reason you can't fill your house with fancy balloons anyway. If you look at the party supply stores that specialise in this kind of thing, you can find all sorts of balloons that you need to make your party fun and vibrant. But birthday party balloons are not just for decoration or show either, nor are theme party balloons. Balloons are all about fun (that's why you can find them at fun and celebratory occasion anyway) so why not have a little fun with the balloons at your party by coming up with a few fun party games that incorporate the use of these colorful bobs?

Especially if it is a birthday party you are having, here are a few party games you could do to make it fun for your guests using balloons. These games are usually appropriate for kids because it is usually the children that love fun and games at the birthday parties anyway:

- If it is a birthday party for kids, you could come up with a balloon that has each of the kids names on them. Put some candy in them, or some fun miniature game that you know kids will love and hide them around your home. Then get them to run around searching for the balloons with their names on them, and pop them to find out what prize they receive. You can be sure the kids will have a blast and love every minute of it.

- Another fun game could be a race to pop the balloons and collect the prize within them. The children could be divided into teams of equal number of players on each team - you can decide how many teams you want to have - then each member of the team could take turns, run to any balloon they can reach first, burst it, collect the prize, and race back to their team to tag the next member who then runs up to pop another balloon. This game is similar to a relay and promises to be a whole lot of fun while burning up some of the kids' hyper energy.

- Another game is something like a chest-pop balloon game. Again fill the balloons with party favors (after all, there has to be something that attracts the kids to it and there's nothing they love more than presents). The children could pair up, balance a balloon between them using their chest and try to pop the balloon as fast as they can to collect the prize within. The more balloons they pop, the more prizes they get.

So there you have some fun party games you could do using either your birthday party balloons, or if you are having a theme party, then using the theme party balloons it doesn't matter either way. A party is always fun, and even if it is a children's birthday party there's no reason why it can't be just as fun for you as it is for them. You could even take part in these games yourself if you want to. The main thing you need for these games is balloons, and if you have a handful of balloons, and a few fun games in mind, you're all set and ready to go.
