Having A Birthday Party For Your Dog Can Be A Fun Way To Spend The Day With Friends
Friends of mine give their dogs a birthday party every year, inviting all their favorite friends for cake and doggy games...If the weather permits they often have it at the lake that has a designated doggy part where it's all fenced off like a dog park, but with one exception...
The dogs have access to part of the lake for their swimming enjoyment...Most of the dogs enjoy going into the lake for a swim especially if it's a hot day...
We've put together some great ideas, recipe books, gifts and even invitations to help you with the planning of your dog birthday!

Whats Your Take On It?
Do You Think Your Dog Should Have A Birthday Party

Yes my dog is a big part of our family
Ramkitten says:
Absolutely! My dog is my little girl--like a child. She gets special treats and special walks on lots of days, but I always do something for her birthday ... even though I'm not quite sure what day that was. (I just picked one around the time she must have been born.)
toriphile81 says:
Of course, or at least do something special together. We usually go to the Three Dog Bakery and pick out a treat, go to the park, and Chick-fil-a for dinner. He loves it!
sidther says:
Why not? They like getting silly sometimes too! They enjoy playing and getting a few extra treats!

- Love this idea...and our Andy sure deserves a cake of his own. He'll probably have it gobbled down in 45 seconds flat and I suspect his 'guests' would be cakeless too, lol!

- YES! They wear a little crown on their birthdays! The cat used to have birthday parties too but as she has aged so much she now gives us a dirty look - we still give her extra treats and a few new toys though. Great lens on birthday parties for dogs!
