Ideas for Theme Parties

  • Birthday Party Theme 1: Bells and Whistles
Don't think trains on this one, think competition (and lots of it). This birthday party theme is great for those who are more active and includes any type of athletic competition you like including relay races, bike races, long jump competitions and anything where you need a bell or whistle. Have this party outside during spring or summer and have loads of fun in the sun.

  • Birthday Party Theme 2: Flour Power
Tag with a difference. Each party guest must come in a black T-shirt and is given a ball made from stocking filled with flour. People then tag each other by throwing their flour ball at each other. The person in the end who has the cleanest shirt is the winner.

  • Birthday Party Theme 3: Cold Feet
Party guests are divided into two teams and two small, inflatable pools are filled with a little water and lots of ice. The teams then need to race to see who can get the most ice out of their pool, using only their feet, in 60 seconds. Players from each team take turns in the pool for 60 seconds each against someone from the other team and then swap for another 60 seconds, until everyone at the party has had a turn.

Theme Party Invitations

Now with a party as zany and crazy as that you don't want to stick to boring invitations, but what can you do that is equally fun and creative? Well, we're glad you asked...

What we suggest is creating a crazy, personalized web page to invite all your guests to. Use a website like Events Listed to develop your online invitation and personalize it with over 60 different multimedia tools. Put up photos, play your favorite music, and include other audio and video clips. Make your page something fun that also reflects you and the type of party you are going to have.

Once you have your page the way you want it then send out email invitations for people to come and view your website and while they are there they will see the details for your party, see their pictures next to their names and also be able to chat to others who are coming to the party.

When the party is over, you can go back and update the page so that instead of being an invitation it can now be a great reminder of the awesome day you had.

Even better, all of this is free! You can sign up for your free account at the Events Listed Birthday Party Theme's page and immediately start creating your personalized online invitation to get people talking.
