What are good hospitals for giving birth? Which ones should I avoid?

This page is being started to collect patient reviews and experiences at different hospitals through the United States. I will collect new patient reviews through your comments and additions. As Webmaster, I will edit them and keep them in order by state. Women need a place to go to find out what things are really like in the maternity ward or maternity department at their local hospitals.

Some women want a natural childbirth experience. Others want to know all interventions are available at a moment's notice, including an epidural or other drugs. Most of all, we want to know how patients are treated, and what the philosophy of the hospital is. Hospital personnel may submit comments or defend their practices here, but the site is primarily intended for patient reviews and experiences. By adding your experience, you agree to submit only factual, accurate information. This is like epinions for hospitals!
