I loved the innovations this machine has--like the dual purpose water tank, and the separate solution tank and the edge brushes, and the hot air blowing on the carpet. And, boy, does it clean! The Hoover has circular brushes that leave "cookies" on the rug if you don't keep moving it. The Bissell has brushes on rollers that leave it normal looking no matter how long it sits.

- I havea Bissell all in vacuum cleaner. It vacuums, steam cleans and does the floors. It is good but it is bigger than this one and is heavy. One part has already broken and it cost a lot. But it is great to have steam cleaning on hand, so you don't have to go to the supermarket to rent something also very heavy.
