The Bissell Spotbot - From Coffee Stains To Pet Stains
The Bissell Spotbot takes care of carpet stains of all shapes, sizes, and ages. In one surface stain cycle, the Unique Spiral Brushing action completes over 400 cleaning revolutions. This makes it very effective at the removal of tough stains. The Bissell Spotbot can handle anything from a coffee stain to a pet stain.
Hands-Free Cleaning
The Bissell SpotBot has a hands-free and manual cleaning mode. In the hand-free mode, your just fill the container with water and cleaning fluid (little green machine formula), select your stain type, and then walk away. The cycle takes 7 minutes. It has a 24-inch circumference cleaning brush that rotates; scrubbing the dirt away. The manual cleaning mode is reserved for larger stains or stains that are a little harder to get up. The manual cleaning mode is also more effective for hard-to-reach places.
Precleaning Required
Before treating a stain, you should pick up any solids or semi-solids with a paper towel or a dull utensil. Liquids should be blotted up with paper towels. A spot should be chosen and the cleaning solution should be tested. This prevents you from damaging your carpet more than you have to. The Little Green Machine Formula is safe for almost all carpets. If something should happen, however, you should contact a professional.

Would I Buy It?
I own and use a Bissell Spotbot regularly. It does a good job cleaning up spots where a small spill or accident has occurred. I also love the fact that you can set it and go do something else, but if I could go back and do it all over again, I would just buy a steam cleaner. The Spotbot's biggest problem is the fact that it is so specialized and pricey. For the price of the Spotbot I can buy a steam cleaner that will clean the entire carpet in much less time.

- I should try this on my coffee stain (why is it always a FULL cup of coffee that gets spilled)?
