NEW BOOK... ILLUSTRATED!
NUMBERS I CAN'T COUNT
This is a language arts book that recognizes the challenges in using and understanding indefinite pronouns.
It has a total of 28 pages with 17 illustrations.
The idea for this front cover was a joint effort with the author Vacera Morgan,. I always like to include my clients' ideas and input within the ongoing project. Water color was the main medium for the finished cover.

The Back Cover
The back cover was easy and fun to do!I wanted to depict in this illustration the character's total involvement with "Numbers I Can't Count".
I think I accomplished that. The author loved it!

One of my favorite pages.
As you can see in both illustrations the focus is on the attitude and mood of what is going on in the scenes.Even the portions of the boy's meals were carefully considered in the illustrations.

Khari is the main character in the book.I wanted Khari to have the appearance of being intelligent, balanced, curious, along
with the expression of just a regular kid.

I wanted this page to look busy.The bright and warm complimentary colors
cause the viewer's eyes to move from person to person in this illustration.
Therefore the viewer gets the feeling ofmovement even though the figures are sitting still.
