This is on my list of places to go. I have not spent enough time visiting Colorado. Blessed.

This Kiwi is going there in a couple of weeks using a free round trip ticket I got enroute to NZ last October. Looks like I made the right choice of destinations. Great info.

My husband and I went to Colorado over the Thanksgiving Holiday, our second trip, and one of the places on our list to visit was Black Canyon. We didn't get there this time, hopefully next time. Colorado is absolutely beautiful with lots to see. I really enjoyed your lens, can't wait for our next trip!

I love how you tell the story with pictures -- it really draws in your reader to feel as though they have actually traveled to that location!

I only recently learned of this park. My husband and I will be going to Colorado quite a bit in the next couple of years as we section-hike the Colorado Trail, so we'll have to make a detour before or after one of our hikes and go check this place out. This is a great lens!

I am jealous. You are so lucky to see these wonderful sights. I would too, but I sabotage my own goals. Thanks for visiting.

I believe they also had some on Morro Rock in California, and on top of the old shipyard crane in Quincy, MA. They tend to like tall buildings it seems -- they won't be bothered there.

Wow. This is wonderfully packed with all the info I needed to put it on my list of places to see.

Side note about the perigrine; they are beginning to flourish east of the Mississippi River...in cities! Dayton has a few nesting pairs. Seems the skyscrapers are perfect surrogate canyons and there's plenty of pigeons around to feast on.

    Well done.

    Thanks!
