The Infrawave Speed Cooking Oven Will Help You Get Tasty Food To Your Table Fast
A Black & Decker InfraWave Speed-Cooking Countertop Oven may be the answer for the busy cook who doesn't like the taste of microwaved food but doesn't have enough time to cook meals in a conventional oven.
The Black & Decker Infrawave Speed Cooking Countertop Oven uses a totally different method than microwaves or conventional ovens to cook food fast. Infrawave cooking takes a little longer than microwave cooking but is much faster than a conventional oven. Most foods can be cooked in an infrawave oven in under 20 minutes.
A large sized Black & Decker Infrawave oven will get food on the table without having to wait forever or settling for bland, flavorless "zapped" in the microwave food. You can use an infrawave oven for making toast, heating leftovers, baking cookies, or making full meals from scratch.
What is Infrawave Cooking?
How Does Infrawave Cooking Compare To Microwave And Conventional Cooking?
Infrawave cooking uses infrared heat technology that cooks foods with pulses of light waves instead of microwaves or heat elements like a conventional oven. Infrawaves cook the food from the outside in which produces browning like a regular oven. This means you can actually bake foods in an infrawave oven in about half the time it takes to bake in a conventional oven.
Another advantage of Infrawave cooking over a regular oven is that no preheating is necessary. Infrawaves send the heat directly into the food instead of heating the entire oven chamber. Infrawave cooking will not heat up your kitchen so you can toast, bake and roast all you want even in the hottest weather.
Infrawave ovens can also be the answer for cooks who don't like the taste of microwaved food. We all know that microwaves aren't great at heating pizza and you can't toast or bake in them. But despite the often poor quality results we keep on using them anyway simply because they cook so fast
Why Does It Take So Long To Cook Food In a Conventional Oven?
In a regular oven the heating elements heat the air inside the cooking chamber which eventually rises to the temperature required to cook the food. Baking uses heating elements on the bottom of the oven, cooking the food from underneath. Broiling uses a top element to crisp and brown the top of the food.
Preheating the oven to the desired temperature is usually required when baking. Frozen foods must be thawed before they can be cooked in a gas or electric oven.
Why Does Microwaving So Often Result In Loss Of Flavor And Texture?
Microwave ovens cook food by heating the water molecules that are dispersed throughout the food. This means the inside and outside of the food are cooked at the same time. This is why microwaved foods never turn out browned on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Microwaves are great if speed is your goal. But if you want baked, roasted or toasted food your microwave just can'tt do that.
Infrawave Speed Cooking Ovens Are The Best Choice For Cooks Who Want Baked Food Fast
An Infrawave oven won't boil liquids or heat soup like your microwave can and you'll still want to use your regular oven for cooking your Thanksgiving turkey. But for everyday cooking tasks like making toast, baking cookies or cooking frozen foods the Black & Decker InfraWave Speed-Cooking Countertop Oven may be just the answer.

Black & Decker Infrawave Oven Reviews
Does Food Cooked In A Black & Decker Infrawave Oven Pass The Taste Test?
In 2007 staff members at Popular Mechanics conducted a blind taste test of the Black & Decker Infrawave Oven against their office microwave by using it to heat day-old leftover pizza. Here's what they had to say:
Everyone in the blind taste test preferred the InfraWaved pizza. It was exactly what you would expect from a long stay in a conventional oven, meaning not as good as a fresh slice, but the cheese was gooey, and the crust was crunchy. The microwaved slices were definitely edible, but that familiar disappointment rushed in as soon as you hit the cud-like rubbery crust."
Here's what Amazon customers had to say about the Black & Decker InfraWave Oven:
I have had this oven for about 5 months and have used it for everything: from hot dogs, to burgers, steaks, apple pie, frozen foods and even my own recipes. We love the results!"
This is a great product, we now have barely any use for our outdoor grill or conventional oven. You can cook anything (fresh or frozen) in the Infrawave. We use it for breakfast, lunches, or dinners. The sausages come out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! Pizzas, hamburgers, even pork roast, come out great too!"
"This is a great product! I had a regular toaster oven which was only used for toast. Now I can do so much more with the Infrawave Oven. I baked cookies that turned out beautiful. The reheat feature is wonderful, makes leftovers as good as new!"
"I am very impressed with the Infrawave Oven by Black & Decker. I was watching TV and saw the commercial for the item. I thought that nothing could be this good - but all of my expectations have been met. The Oven is as good as they advertised on TV. Dealing with Amazon.com has always been a pleasure."

- I have had one since 2006 and I love it. It is very versatil; if you can fit something in it, you can cook it! It will make toast. It will keep the kitchen cool when you bake a roast.
