Black Elk - Man of Wisdom

When I was taking a course at Winthrop University in the 1980's, we were asked to read Black Elk: The Sacred Ways of a Lakota. I started reading it only because it was a requirement. I was quickly fascinated with the wisdom and the experiences of this great man.

Black Elk: The Sacred Ways of a Lakota gives the reader a rare peek into the spiritual practices of this tribe, and the awe-inspiring results of some of those practices.

This is a book I will re-read many times! Enjoy!
