Black Friday Hot Items 2011

Black Friday Shopping Online

The day after Thanksgiving is referred to as Black Friday. Why, you ask? After my extensive research... no clue. Black Friday does signify the official start of the holiday shopping season. I consider it madness to rise at an unholy hour, drive through the dark and the cold only to stand in a long crowded line outside a retail establishment until the doors open, followed by the obligatory struggle through the massive hoard of blood-thirsty shoppers in the hopes of scoring that must-have hot item... and there is no need!
You can get fantastic Black Friday deals shopping from home.

Most of the top retailers are offering fantastic Black Friday deals online, many of them with free shipping. Here are some examples:

Amazon.com is offering great Black Friday deals daily right now with their Countdown Event. Check out them out here- Amazon Black Friday Deals

BestBuy.com has said it will host daily giveaways for its Facebook fans from November 20 through November 28. During the period, fans will have the chance to win one of 10 e-gift cards daily from a pool of $25,000 worth of gift cards. Best Buy also announced free shipping on all BestBuy.com purchases from now until December 27, and price matching on all products advertised for a lower price elsewhere between November 13 and December 24.

Walmart.com is already offering pre-Black Friday online specials throughout the month. These online deals include numerous HDTVs. For instance, Walmart is selling the LG 42LW5300, 42-inch LED-backlit 3D LCD with four pairs of passive 3D glasses, for just $727 - about $70 less than its usual price and more than $150 cheaper than elsewhere online. If you don't need 3D, there's also the LG 47LV4400 47-inch LED set for $698.

It's after black friday now, but I stood outside of circuit city for 38 hours....got the best deal I possibly ever could, just wondering if it were actually worth it.

I refuse to shop on black Friday. People do nutty things in the name of saving money and I want nothing to do with it. I worked retail for years. Black Friday is no fun. Neat lens.

Your lens is an eye opener. Shows how much time is saved by shopping online.

I never really understood people standing in line for hours when you can usually get the same deals online. But I've never been a huge fan of shopping anyway.

Not a big shopper myself. Ever heard of "Buy Nothing Day"?
I do a bit of online shopping for family members but am not likely to shop on Friday just because it's Black Friday.

I will be shopping online. I hate crowds and am a night owl so no getting up early for me. Great lens!

No Thanksgiving here, so also no Black Friday. I am luckily out of this crowded shopping experience. :)
