Health problems pertaining to mold involvement is now considered high risk. Molds travel through air,they can be inhaled with people unknowingly doing it.

It has been reported that mold exposure causes cold and flu like symptoms like conjuctivitis, throat irritation, eye irritation, nasal congestion, rashes, inability to concentrate, and fatigue. That is what it causes to fit persons who were exposed to molds.

It also causes allergic reactions, causes asthma. Reactions maybe immediate or delayed so watch out. Now what about the less fortunate ones? Like the ones who are weak or have chronic diseases involving the lungs, those who have weak immunity. Exposure to molds even in small amounts could cost their life, mild exposure to them is fatal and life threatening.

What are molds by the way? Molds are fungi. They travel through air. They help in the nature stuff as digesting decaying any organic matter like fallen leaves, rotten leaves, logs. Some parts for soil enrichment that wouldn't be possible without molds existing.

Wood products for one are common, the ceiling, the tiles, cardboard, wallpapers, drywall, carpets, fabric foods, insulation planers and other organic materials.

Molds can be detected visibly by sight which means it has grown or either by smell. Yep you can smell it. Careful. Increased indoor mold count is contributed to poor housekeeping practices (for example, leaving dirty dishes, food, dirty clothes, and wet towels lying around the house, keeping trash in cans or compactors in the house, and infrequent house cleaning) provide surface materials for mold to grow on. These are some of the reasons why organic mold cleaners have become some popular as of late.

What do we do? How do we handle this problems? Certain areas or Specific areas has been sited that molds are more common found. These areas include the antique shops, Greenhouse, farms, barns, and construction sites. These are only referring to the buildings. What about indoors? Common places include the kitchen, near the sink or surrounding it, the bathroom, bathroom tiles, bathroom walls and bathroom curtains, roofs and ceilings after rains, near leaked windows and pipes, basement after flooding.

Did you notice anything? all the areas are usually water exposed. Molds starts reproducing when water is present. They can grow as fast as 24-48 hours if the problem is not treated and spread all over to the same material and adjacent to it.

How do handle cleaning up after molds? temperature settings. We make sure that our house is well ventilated. Cover dirt in crawlspaces with plastic to prevent moisture from coming from the ground.

Ventilate the area as much as possible. Dry everything up after cleaning, fixing the leaks and all. Prevent seepage of water from outdoors into your house. Like rain water from gutters or the roof needs to drain away from the house asap. Ground around the house needs to slope away to keep basement and crawlspace dry.

If molds are already present do so clean it using any natural mold remover you prefer and keep the area clean and dry. that's the only way preventing it from coming back..
