Blackberry Wine Recipe: Before You Start...
Ingredients
4 lbs. blackberries (fresh or frozen)4 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. yeast nutrient
1 tsp. acid blend
1 tsp. pectic enzymes
1 campden tablet
1 pkg. all-purpose wine yeast

Blackberry Wine Recipe: Day 1
Is your mouth watering yet?
1. Thoroughly clean and disinfect all your materials. This is key!
2. Crush blackberries
3. Fill primary fermentation vessel up with blackberries and water (up to the one gallon mark)
4. Add sugar
5. Add yeast
6. Cover top with a towel and elastic band
7. Stir every 24 hours
Blackberry wine recipe tip: Don't take the first step lightly. Disinfect EVERYTHING!

Set your alarm...
1. Siphon the wine from primary fermentation vessel into secondary fermentation vessel (called "racking")2. Seal secondary fermentation vessel with an airlock
Blackberry wine recipe tip: "Racking" the wine is important because it gets rid of the dead yeast that will accumulate at the bottom of your fermentation vessel, which will offset the taste of your final product.

1. Add Potassium Sorbate2. Allow to settle for at least 3 days
3. Bottle it
