blackspanielgallery's Zazzle Gallery Showcase
Ranked #4,283 in Business & Work, #143,529 overall
Welcome to blackspanielgallery's Showcase!
We are fortunate to live in the New Orleans area where great digital photographs are just waiting to be taken. We take many photographs, look them over, reject most, then make products with the rest.
In addition to being close to New Orleans, we are a day trip, and a short one at that, from many plantation houses. These provide another great source of images.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast is also close, and we use it as well. Once a year there is a period of just over a week when vintage and classic autos gather, and drive along the beach. The event is called Cruising the Coast. The only problem is getting an angle that does not make the driver identifiable.
Why do we reject photographs? We try hard not to have people who are identifiable, license plates that can be read, or stray objects we cannot crop out enter the photographs. Then we check for problems due to flooding light or lack of focus. When we select, we fell like it is a good image.
Why Zazzle instead of Cafe' Press? We have read quality comparisons, and prefer Zazzle. But Zazle gives us something more. We had a photograph of a French Quarter building, and Zazzle pulled all products with the image. The photograph showed the name of the House of Blues. We have a minor presence on Cafe' Press, but Zazzle seems to check more closely whether an image is someone else's intellectual property. Zazzle keeps its members from inadvertently getting into trouble by checking the products. And we appreciate the effort. Yes, their product line is smaller, but it is growing.
I made this page because I work hard on my Zazzle gallery and my designs, and wanted a fun way to reach new people like you.
