Where to find information on bladder cancer
I was diagnosed in July 2006 and have had a number of operations and tests. Trying to work my way through the minefield of data available and make sense of it has been daunting. I present what I have found to be useful here. I am not a Doctor or a Consultant, just someone who has the disease - if you are at all worried please go and see a Doctor or Specialist.
June 2007 - things are looking up - I'm on preventative treatment now.
November 2007 - Biopsies show that all is clear and I am on preventative treatment to keep it that way.

Bladder Cancer is a disease that can recur and it is one of the most costly to treat because of that. You'll no doubt hear the word Superficial Bladder Cancer - I hasten to add that it is nothing of the sort. All Cancers need to be thought of in terms that do not make light of their seriousness. However, Bladder Cancer is one of the more survivable forms caught early enough. I hope that this lens starts to pull together resources for all.
