Types of Recordable DVDs
Not all recordable DVDs are created equal so you need to check out what you are actually buying. There is two main types of recordable DVDs.
The first is the R type. This type of recordable DVD is designed to be recorded to once and that is it. Once you have recorded something on it you cannot record over it or add more recordings to the DVD, it is done.
The second main type is the RW type of DVD. This type is designed to be recorded to many times. So you can record to it then record again, overwrite and so forth.
