Blankets for Christmas
I have made myself a goal of making all my children and grandchildren blankets for Christmas, with most of them being quilts.
This lens will be ongoing as I complete each blanket.
How many do I need to make you wonder? Well....I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren to make for. I have only 1 quilt complete, a crocheted quilt type blanket almost done and another quilt started. However, the quilt I just started this week is for my boyfriends sister, something he bought the materials for so that I can make it.
I know this lens will inspire me to keep working each and every day from now until Christmas on making my goal.
I Did It!!!
I made my goal and completed all quilts intended for Christmas!

Crocheted Quilt Blanket
This is going to my daughters, boyfriends, son (make sense? LOL)
Please note: I bought the squares already crocheted at our church yard sale for only $2!! I sewed them together and crocheted the edging. Just that took quite a lot of time.

- These are great! Glad we talked on MyLot! What is your secret for getting all those squares sewn together to straight! That is my problem..no matter how hard I try, they just don't stay straight! You have a great talent...I hope I can compete! I'll be back for inspiration!

- This is an awesome lens Marsha.
You commented on my lens that you didn't think you would ever get a LOTD. Well I think this is one of yours that will make it.

- Quilts make great gifts. I keep hoping someone will give me one. ;-) Here in Fort Bragg, CA, located on the Northern California coast, we have a huge quilt contest/show every year. It is well attended by quilters and admirers from all over the US. People come back year after year. I love to go even though I don't have an ounce of sewing ability in my body! LOL Excellent lens and a well deserved purple star. Bear hugs, Frankster
