Reviews for Blanton Creek Park
We had a good time when we camped here, but the tent sites are so close to the water that I wouldn't feel comfortable camping there with my kids. I had a good time in fishing in my husband's kayak. This is a great place for pleasure boaters and RVers.More Reviews for Blanton Creek Park From RV Park Reviews

- yes!!! my family and i go to blanton every year for my birthday!!! i absolutly love everthing about it. i practicaly grew up swimming in the water, swinging on the swings at the park ,fishing many of the great fishin spots, and my favorit walking or biking the beautiful nature trails. in fact i havent been in about a year so next weekend i am planning a family campping trip! cant wait! and yes the staff can be a little uptight but that is why it isnt a trash campground that is why it is a very family friendly campground. every yearon my birthday i would up to the window to check in and they would so gladly greet me with a vase full of beautiful flowers!

- I just did some looking around and it states here http://www.georgiapower.com/lakes/harding_faq.asp that Blanton Creek Park closes in the winter. I am assuming it's closed until spring. I didn't realize this, but will be sure to update this page with that information. I'm sorry you've had a frustrating experience.

- The facilities themselves are terrific...however the camp personnel are extremely rude, disrespectful, and generally unfriendly. After talking to several groups, we decided that our experience with the staff was not an isolated experience. While we understand that they are doing their jobs, and by all appearances, doing it satisfactorily; their collective attitudes are not very hospitable. Just be prepared to be admonished unneccessarily for minor infractions that may or may not have been committed by your party due to a case of mistaken identity. In any event, campgrounds A+...Camp staff D-.
