    I know of Mme Blavatsky, as I have always had an interest in Spiritualism, ( she had the most compelling eyes!) Thanks for this lens, now maybe I'll read more about her life...interesting woman.

    Blavatsky's book about university (sorry, can't remember the name - read it in Finnish) confirmed my early shy thoughts about the world. And even when the book was so difficult as to almost impossible to understand, it had a profound effect - and now, 28 years lataer, she's coming back to my life. Maybe this time around I had a better chance to grasp her observations.

    I love strong, independent women like Blavatsky and might I add, quite impressed in that she "came up with her own synthesis, which she called 'theosophy', or ancient wisdom. " A woman after my own heart!
