    i also encountered a great site to teach newbie like me. Check this out www.blenderguru.com. It has easy to understand tutorials and offers interesting competitions to test what we have learned.

    You went to great lengths to explain blogs which for most of us is possibly unnecessary. However, I've not got a clue about blender. you say "My favourite topic is of course Blender". Well please explain Blender.

    I favored your "blender Newbie" link so I can go back later and check it out. I'm still at the free Clip art or animated clip art--cut and paste level. But would be fun to learn how the Blender stuff works.
