Five Steps to Resolving Family Conflicts
Is it that simple? Five steps? Only if you make it so. The thing about conflict is that we make it harder than it has to be. Most of the time, we end up really arguing about HOW we are trying to argue...and we don't even know it.Here are five steps to building effective and empathetic agreements between family members, regardless of age.
1) LEARN HOW TO APPRECIATE CONFLICT
Unless we can create a framework around conflict that works for us, rather than works against us, it will always be something we want to avoid. Find a way to appreciate conflict, in all its forms.
