There are many reasons why squids write lenses and many do it extremely well from the beginning of their time here. Others may be late bloomers and need more help and support from the giant squids who volunteer their time and efforts to critique and point out ways to improve their works. In my time as a Squid angel I have looked over thousands of lenses and blessed hundreds of them.

My opinion is not necessarily those of others and many angels might look at a lens that received my blessing and be shocked that it did so. On the other hand the reverse situation is also true. We have our own criteria and it is good to read our views in the angel lenses we each tend to do.

To eliminate the confusion there are several lenses on this subject in my list of works and some will be featured below. It would pay you to take a look and to understand why and how your lens has come to be featured here or how you can get your lens up to blessing standard. Meanwhile enjoy this page as it was created to give some pleasure and rewards back to all who do make good lenses and who take their time here seriously.

It might be a cute puppy or someone's billy goat. It might be a fly on the wall or an oyster in a fish tank. Animals are loved and we are killing them off and some animals are facing extinction. Whatever it is chances are it's here in Squidoo

We take serious matters to heart and laugh to our heart content at the antics some come up with

Learners should look them over to see how to do good lenses and others should pay a visit to remind themselves to congratulate the lensmaster and give a rating while leaving a worthwhile comment.They are worthy of more than a drumroll.

As habitats go and oceans are depleted shelter is scarce and animals and all things die. Species being lost means my grandchildren are growing up in a different world to that of our generation. Creatures, big and small, remind us of what we are losing.

Authors, writers, editors and proof readers are precious as they create stories and things to read and enjoy and many educate us along the way. We realise, therefore, that wordsmithing covers many genres and in each of them there are people unique and brilliant

They may be small and uninteresting to some but without them the world would stop living. They pollinate, remove dead matter from our sight, clean the ground, turn waste into usable nutrition for plants and animals, and they provide yummy things like honey for our enjoyment. Many of their products are natural sources of health as well.

They may not run a bakery but many squids easily could with the skills they exhibit in these categories. Sometimes they show so many different recipes for the same dish that you wonder how they all work. Getting a recipe from these lenses will make your day and fill your stomach with pleasurable desires for the next culinary wonder to be had.

Motoring along on a super highway is great fun, especially when you have a good form of transport. Be is a sedan, four wheel drive, truck, bus or bike there are lenses singing their praises.

One of the most amazing feats of the 20th Century was man arriving on the moon. Beyond our reach are an uncountable number of planets, suns, moons and things that some squids know about and share

As things get financially tight and drought, climate change, loss of jobs, homelessness, and other factors kick in this century might be the worst on record for stavation, wars and other things that will test our sense of giving to the maximum. Some squids give everything and some like to talk about how to make a difference. Every little gift helps someone.

The view of the world from space is very different to that on the ground. Squids love to talk about their cities, countries and other places in which they live, have spent some time holidaying in or just visited on the way through. When jobs are hard to get one will almost do anything but toilet papering a tree may not pay too well. Getting work or working from home are topics that many squids write about and they do it professionally. Take a leaf from some of these lenses and see for yourself

Fantasy or fiction, dreams or reality. There is so much to entertain us these days that we are certainly not stuck for choice. Some see pink elephants then why not a dog with a rocket strapped on it's back flying through space? Give it time - it's bound to happen.

With all that's happening to the earth these days there are heaps of lenses on this topic. Some might bring you to tears, others will scare you half to death. But mostly they will wake you up to try harder to save what we have.

We all have one and we mostly care about them but they are not always there when we need them. Bonding and protecting loved ones is a must for everyone's sake. Take time out to read what other squids have to say on this issue

Looking back over the years is an indication of how much we take it for granted and yet every year of our lives is governed by what people wear, how they live, what cars they drive and what type of houses they live in.
